Snow Tubing Fun: Highlights in the Area

When it comes to snow tubing, there’s no place quite like Colorado! Chances are, if you can ski somewhere in Colorado – there’s snow tubing nearby! Today we want to showcase some of the great snow tubing hills in the area.

FriscoColorado Snow Tubing Fun

If 1200 feet of fun sounds like your cup of tea, you’re going to love Frisco’s snow tubing hill! You can tube for just $25/hour from 10am-6pm, depending on the time of year. All snow tubing riders must be at least 36 inches tall. Plus you’ll need a pass to ride the “magic carpet” – aka the lift that gets you up the hill. Depending on the day, you may be permitted to ride down in groups of up to four people (although only one person per tube). The more people, the faster you’ll go!

Keystone

Keystone also offers great snow tubing options. Here you must be at least 40 inches tall, and the charge is $33/hour. Times vary each day, but they also have some evening hours available – so choose which works best for your group’s schedule. Sessions are one hour long and reservations are required. You’ll again have access to a lift to get you up the hill, and only one person is allowed per tube. They recommend this only for adventurous children.

Vail

Vail has various snow tubing options. Choose from the multi-hills available, listen to music, and enjoy the covered lift. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall, and children under five have to have an adult with them. Sessions run one hour each. You can find more information here.
